Spring colours have always been keenly anticipated by me, as I live in a rural location, and am pretty much surrounded by fields, woodland and hedgerows. I love the disorder and tangles of growth in the spring, it feels fresh and verdant.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
