An abstracted, impressionist landscape painting.

I love using colours and light and shade to describe how I view the world around me, I try to translate what I have seen and experienced onto canvas, with paint as my choice of tool. Evoking mood and colour is one of my primary concerns when painting landscapes.

the fields and farmland around my home and studio and magical in the wintertime, colours and shapes are defined and the gentle hills give beautiful views.

This impressionistic painting has paint layered, dripped, painted, spattered and brushed onto the canvas surface to create a rich textured surface.
