Pink Skies and Teal Grasses

One of many paintings I have brought back from my painting trip to the North Pembrokeshire coast. There is something gentle and beautiful about the colour and light here which I really love. As the coastpaths I love hug the Irish Sea, the breeze is pretty constant, and movement in the coastal grasses is quite mesmerising.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
