Winter's Light

Abstract impressionist landscape, 30x30cm.

Winter light and winter colour in hedgerows and fields are such an inspiration to me at this time of year.  This painting is one from my local walks, taking in the wintery atmosphere.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
