The Colour of Summer Fields

I love winter weather, but I often dream about high summer at this time of year...literally! Summer colours, summer sun and breezes in Kent can be intoxicating. This dreamlike painting celebrates that thought.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 40x40cm landscape painting is acrylic on canvas. It’s unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord.
