Bright Autumn Hedgerow

Abstract Impressionist meadow painting, 75x75cm, unframed and ready to hang.

I can't tell you how much I love autumn, the colours, light, and almost daily change all add to the beauty and poignancy of the season. This painting the first of several I am working on which attempt to convey the hedgerows and fields near my home.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.I have tried to inject as much colour, warmth and vibrancy as I can onto this canvas, which has many many layers of paint to give depth and texture to the painting.

This 75x75cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
